Angela Lagerlof - Physiotherapist

Angela Lagerlof is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their optimal health outcomes and firmly believes that the integrative, multi-disciplinary approach offered by BIHC is one of the most effective ways of doing that.

Angela graduated from Queen’s University in 2008 with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she attended the University of New Brunswick and completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with Honours, focusing on biomechanics and physiology. Angela is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is firmly committed to maintaining and improving her skills, having taken over 25 post graduate specialized courses since 2008.

Angela has a special interest and passion for Women’s Health and is certified to perform Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. This includes the treatment of pelvic pain and urinary incontinence in both men and women of all ages, as well as the skills to provide pre-and post natal care. She has pursued advanced manual therapy studies and has completed her Level 2 Manual Therapy course with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division, numerous additional manual therapy courses from the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute, as well as courses in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Soft Tissue Release and Therapeutic Taping. Angela joined BIHC in 2016. She is married with two children – a daughter, a son and a rambunctious soft coated wheaten terrier. In her limited spare time, Angela plays competitive softball.
