Memory Shelton - Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)
Memory is a Physiotherapist Assistant who is passionate about restoring/promoting function and mobility to patients ensuring their goals and ability to complete meaningful activities of daily living are priority.
Memory completed her OTA/PTA Diploma through Mohawk College’s Institute of Applied Health Sciences at McMaster where she gained educational work experience with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists at both Hamilton Health Sciences Rehabilitation Centre and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Memory has a heart for education and is passionate to learn. After graduation she worked at a Sport and Wellness Clinic and recently completed her certification in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization treatments. She is excited to continue with additional science and rehab based learning.
Born and raised in the Quinte West region, Memory is looking forward to working locally at BIHC. In her spare time, Memory loves living a healthy and active lifestyle through weight training, running or hiking, she also enjoys spending her time playing the piano, and the flute, along with reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
